(top) Aniza and I had just gotten off the train at Smith & 9th and saw a dog whose fur was caught in the escalator. We heard it whimpering and a crowd of people gathered to help it get out and it made Aniza cry right in front of that deli. She had hydrangea for my mother, too.

(bottom) My sister Josie was in the hospital for some wild stomach pains, but she found her cozy and it ended up being all good.
